I have another 7520 here at the company that we purchased a replacement for from the local Nextel supplier and they gave me two batteries that say For Nextel 6510, 3.7V 900mAh on them. I checked blackberrys website and it says a 6510 battery also works on a 7520. However when I put either one of these batteries in a 7520, I get a battery icon with a slash through it and it will not power on, the only thing I can do is adjust the backlight. Does this icon mean that batteries are not compatible, or did I happen to get two bad batteries? Thanks!

Are they fully charged? Two batteries bad at same time sounds kind of strange.

They are as charged as good as when we bought them. I left one plugged in for about 25 minutes and it still showed the same sign.

ok just checking Id take them back to that dealer and show them what they have given you.

Turns out that the local supplier thinks they may have received a bad batch of batteries, I guess when I bring them back to get new we will find out.
