Default 7290 Issue Help!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

HELP, I bought Blackberry used on eBay and I am having issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I installed the AT&T Sim Card and battery into my 7290 AT&T blackberry and when I power it up for the first time it just hangs at the power up process. I get only an hour glass and that is it. I did a hard reset of the device and no change. I tested it my other AT&T 7290 and when first powering up with a new card takes about a minute.... Does any body know how to resolve this or should I cut my losses? Please help!!!

usually all BB's are taking about a minute to start/reboot. but if the SIM card has been changed/swapped then it takes some extra time. as long as it starts it should be fine. it is just security alogorithm that takes forever. also if you can disable the content protection then it will be little faster

All may not be lost!! It could be that the firmware's gone sketchy on it and maybe that's why it was up for sale. If this is the case then the device i repairable. Just use Desktop Manager to install the latest firmware on the BlackBerry and you might get lucky
