Default RexRegina - 06-16-2008, 08:41 AM

I have been eyeballing a RexRegina case for my 8830 for a few weeks now, and thought I'd post here and see what you guys think of it.

I am looking at this case:

I want to know if it's worth getting the case for $45. Do they last? Do they have the magnet to put the phone into sleep mode automatically? Let me know what you guys think of these cases, and if you don't like them, what I should get.

If not this case, I'm looking for one without a belt clip, because I hate having the bulge on my hip. I find it extremely uncomfortable.

I am currently using the silicone case, but it doesn't protect the front of my BB.

Thanks in advance
-DB

Not sure what that one does, but I found one very similar that has the sleeper switch and cost $15 less. If your interested heres the link:
Wireless BY eAccess - BlackBerry 8800 Series Pocket Slip Case (Black)

Also, if you want something similar to your silicone case that protects the front. Look at the otterbox cases, they are great but a tad bit pricey.

re: the magnet: I'd guess that they "proximity sensing" feature that RexRegina describes is, in fact, just the magnet hidden in between layers of leather in the case.

Thank you. I'll be looking into that case. Though, I don't like how it says eAccess on it...

The RexRegina's are hard to beat. I have one and the quality is second to none.

Thanks John. I'm guessing that means they do have the magnet for the sleeper :P
