I just got my blackberry 8310 two weeks ago...its working fine and i love it. But today 7/11/2008, suddenly i cant hear my phone ring. I only found out later in the afternoon that i have been missing calls coz my phone is not ringing even if it was set to vibrate and ring on high.

Has anyone encountered this problem or know what to do? Please help...thank you in advance!

Leave your BB powered on, remove the battery for about 30 seconds, and replace it to reboot. Does it work now?

Have you checked your profiles to make sure it was not set to quiet? Also, try a battery pull and reinsert after 30 seconds.

I had this happen once and the battery pull worked for me.
