Talking Best $8.00 bucks I ever spent - 07-28-2008, 04:33 PM

Whaasup guys . . . I know this is probably nothing new to a lot of you , but I have to make this public hehe I ordered a full body protection skin from ww.bestskinsever.com and boy this thing is awesome , and at half the price that those fools in Zagg sells them for !! of course it all depends on who and how you install the skin , but I have been using them on some of my devices and of course my BB will be no exception , like I said best $8 bucks I ever spent , some pics !!

The arrows point what the skin covers (which is everything !!)

Plus it gives your device a very nice grip and a very very elegant shine !!

p.s. The pics are mine ok ?? I am also Neo001 from Howard Forums , Pocketpcthoughts , xda-developers , etc

I just wish these skins would cover the gaps on the sides to keep the dust out. I use the Invisible Shield screen only on mine and it works great. I'd think about the full body protection if it really was full body. Frankly, I don't really care if the case gets a little scuffed up. The screen is really the only thing I care about cosmetically.

those fools at zagg make the highest end quality product for screen protectors AND they are only a few dollars more, i think the screen is $11 bucks PLUS you get a lifetime warranty and they will replace it WHENEVER for WHATEVER, they dont ask questions. Those "fools" at zagg are great! BUY INVISIBLE SHIELD!

FWIW, I already made arrangenments with Zagg to have them apply an Invisible Shield on my Bold (when it arrives) & get it back to me next day.

Before I register the IMEI or move my software over, it will be shielded.

(Is anybody else old enough to remember the "Invisible Shield" commercials for Colgate Toothpaste?)

Thanks for the recommendation. This is definitely a great scratch protector. I ordered it and it arrived 3 days later

With this said, what type of cases/holsters does everyone use that are very appealing and not a "boring or normal looking". In other words, any contemporary or pretty cool ones that are not too thick so that I can put it in my pocket, but sturdy enough? Right now I have the minimal case protector that has that rubbery feeling....no protection if it falls.

Thank you,

I've never tried this product and figured I would try it. Those "fools" have it going and I purchased a shield for my Pearl and it was great. Now I heard about this brand and wanted to try it out. Edit; uncalled for.

Is this one that requires water to apply it? I can never keep the brands straight.

Yeah we have 2 curves, I purchased invisible shields and bestskinsever and forgetting price I prefer bestskinsever. It covers more.
When you add in that it is 1/3 the price it is an obvious choice (for me, to each there own).

I have one for my curve, and I love it. However, I should have let the shower steam the bathroom in order to prevent dust from getting in it. I just ordered another one, and plan on cleaning out all of the dust and such beforehand.

I just received my BSE for my Curve. Just waiting to get the time to put it on. Hoping you could help with a few questions.

How have you all ensured that water will not get into your phone? Let the film drip dry and apply with slightly moist/wet fingers?

Have you installed the skin with the batter cover on or off (with the battery istelf out of course)?

I ordered BSE a while back and installed it on my Bold. Sure I was nervous and all having to use some h2o on my baby, but in the end, a little confidence and a steady hand led to a beautiful application and terrific results.

BSE on my Bold (This pic is HUGE so I didnt want to embed)

Default Best Skins - 01-23-2009, 09:56 AM

I bought the Best Skins full body for my 8300 and the install was easy, it looked good and price was great. Only problem I had was that after about 3 to 4 months, the top of the sides as well as the top of the screen started to peal back. It would pick up lint from my pockets and eventually dust as well. Finally they pealed back considerably and they looked awful (like the phone was dirty since the skins were no longer clear) and I had to pull them off. Has anyone else had this problem or do I just need to wash my clothes better? I am getting a bold soon and I want to protect it but now I wonder if I should try a different brand.

Has anyone managed to use the case that came with the 8900 after putting BSE on their phone? Mine doesn't seem to fit in!!
