Default Alternate Cases For 7100t - 10-23-2004, 01:59 PM

I am not satisfied with the original case supplied with the 7100t. Are there any different styles available yet?

There are a few coming in the next couple of weeks. So far those are just variations on the supplied case.

I'm actually using a TREO side case that works very well....

Look Here http://www.smartphonedepot.com/produ..._treocase.html

Color me stupid but if you bought a small magnet for less than $1 and stitched it or taped it into the case in the right place it would then support the sleep function of the BlackBerry, right?

Probably.

I really don't care about it myself. The screen turns off anyway and the changing profiles (holstered / unholstered) don't appeal to me. The Treo case is quite protective and it's attractive as well.

I agree completely, I am thinking about it more for the keyboard lock anyway. I know I can lock it manually, but it is the convenience. My T610 is annoying in its holster because I keep hitting keys when I sit in a car or move funny.

Don't worry - I am sold on the thing... just waiting until the boss says I can buy it from you.

I picked up this one...

I love it so far. I know 6 people in total with the 7100 and almost all of them picked this up when they saw mine

I just ordered a Vaja case. Expensive, yes, but custom made and has a screen protector. I bought online from www.vajacases.com

I ordered one like the one mentioned on ebay.

For me it was nearly perfect. I wanted a holster, not case. It works well in that regard, fits snug but not tight, magnetic flap is secure, and rotating belt clip is a very low profile fit.

Only downside is that it muffles the ring slight, but not a lot.
