I've been a user of Screen Patronus Screen Protectors for a several years now with my old Treo 600, my BB 8700g and now my BB Bold.

I think they're great. Easy to apply and realign. They are cheap, too.

A few weeks ago I was traveling and my Bold got a nick on the screen (thank God for the protector, right?). It wasn't deep, but was caused by a plastic clip from my work ID badge. It was unsightly, but I thought: 1. glad I had the protector on (my Bold was only 2 weeks old), 2. now I have to see this unsightly nick until I got home to put another protector on (Patronus sells them in packs of 3), 3. I won't be home for another 3 days, so grrrr.

But here's the thing: over the next 3 days, the nick DISAPPEARED from the protector. OK, if I hold my BB at the right angle, I can see a tiny nick remaining, but the original scratch is a pale shadow of its former self.

To date, I still haven't replaced the protector. I can barely see the nick.

So, just a post to say a few things: 1. don't be so hasty to replace the protector, scratches may work themselves out in a few days, 2. this is just another reason to love Screen Patronus protectors.

(Now if I can only figure out what "Patronus" means...)

Assuming you are not being sarcastic, A "Patronus" is from the Harry Potter movies. A Patronus is a magic spell of protection, so the name makes sense.

Loving this screen protecter too! Just one question... in the packaging, it says washable/reuseable, but how am I supposed to wash it and with what? anyone else know?

EDIT: nevermind, I found the FAQ on how to clean it!
