Default Suddenly my Curve 8320 is dead !! - 02-20-2009, 09:10 PM

Yesterday morning when i got my curve I got a surprise when I couldnīt see anything on the screen pushing any button. After that i put it in the charger for at least three hours and nothing happened. I thought that it could be the battery and i bought one but the same, it wasnīt the battery, so??, it is very rare. NO water, NO impacts, just beside me when i was sleeping. Anyone does have any idea what can i do now if the phone hasnīt now any signs of life?. The PC off course didnīt recognize it either. I hope that i can get any solution here because i havenīt any chances to do with waranty because the phone has more tha one year. Thanks !!

Do you get any light from the LED? Red Flashing? Does it try to boot? What happens when you connect it to a charger without the battery inserted?

Nop, i didnīt get any ligth in any colour. It is literaly dead. Any sings of power. When i connected it without the battery nothing happened. I decided to open it in order to check an internal battery i read it has and what i got is that it hasnīt any voltage, could it be the problem?, what do you think?, i read about this internal battery supply in other of your forums minutes ago and resulted very rare this battery without voltage, maybe it cause the interuption of the main battery. Iīm an engineer with some experience with electricity so i have some idea about this things

Anybody can tell me how can i do with a dead phone?, it was very rare, and the point is that i remained without phone because iīm not in US and besides it is without waranty. I think that the phone must have an internal protection that in some cases like mine it will block completly the power. My case seems reading on the INTERNET that it is not the only case about a suddenly dead BB phone
