Cool Jawbone 2 & Bold compatiblity - 03-19-2009, 01:19 PM

I'm new to the forum and loving it -- glad I joined.
I bought the new Aliph, Jawbone 2 blutooth ear piece to use with my BB Bold and I'm having some trouble with the pairing. My BB finds the device and the blutooth feature activates with the Jawbone 2, but when I make a call I'm not able to hear anything. The party I call seems to hear me clearly but I cannot hear anything thru the device.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. And thanks for your time.

I have a Jawbone 2 and have no problems with sound or connection. Try deleting the profile from your BB and reconnecting

Hold the noise button and on and off button at the same time till it blinks white and red. It will manually put it in pairing mode. Then try to pair it with your phone.

Thanks all for the reply. I think it's a problem with the actual device. I'll be returning this one for a new one.

i tried pairing the device with my computer and i get the same thing... the microphone works but, that is it, nothing else does...

Wirelessly posted

I had to exchange my J2 for a new J2. The guy at the store told me it was a 1st for him. That he had never had a bad Aliph product. I guess there's always a 1st time for everything. I would take the device back and exchange it for a new one as I did. It's the device not you.
There's nothing I was able to to do to make it work. I also made sure to activate the new device at the store to insure that it was working properly. Good look with the new one.

I have used several different J2s and once paired it should work without any other issues. If you do have issues, it is best to return it as soon as possible, and get a new one.
