I have been lurking for a few days, and I have an important question. Last night, I ordered an AT&T BB 8310 Curve. I want a case for it. My favorite is the Case Mate Smart Skin, but Case Mate does not have a clip or holster for the case. Will it fit in a Seidio Innocase Holster? If not, will another holster fit the case (I prefer one w/ a magnet)? Am I better off getting a Seidio case like the hybrid and the holster for a better fit? Or should I just get the Otterbox Defender which is bulkier, but gives the best protection? I am so confused. Thanks in advance for helping a newcomer to the forum.

i have a otterbox for my bb 8330 it does the job well but it is HUGE and the thin plastic layer that does over the keys for moisture protestion is quite ugly after a few weeks. although this case is very effective its not pretty on the eyes. and it very expensive. all cases for the 83XX series should fit just fine. i currently use a silicone case that i think works best but if your not ok with that just go into a local cell phone store anf get a holter with magnet or puntch with clip on it, most come with a magnet. they run 20 to 30 bucks.

I had been searching for a nice holster for my BB 8330, but found it very difficult because I wanted to keep my Seidio case on it. I found a nice leather holster with magnetic clasp and two options for the belt clip on Ebay. To allow my cased 8330 to fit, I ordered the one for the BB Bold model.

The sides are enclosed with black elastic that was a little too snug for my tastes, so I stretched the elastic by inserting wood blocks ("Jenga Blocks") into the holster and then heating the elastic with a small heat gun (or hair dryer would work) to ease some of the tension. It now fits perfectly and goes in and out of the holster well.

The holster was only about $12, is great quality, and looks great for work. The brand is "Cellet" and the model is "Noble case". The size is for a BB 8830, 8800 ,7100g , etc., but again I needed it bigger to fit my Seidio case.
