I am having a problem with receiving text messages on my 8830 world edition phone. It pops up the new message icon but then goes away and the message is deleted. Please someone help!

I deleted some programs off the phone and restarted it and everything was started working again. Viigo and some blackberry apps that I deleted, I am thinking it was the viigo app.
