Default Best Skins Ever - 08-26-2009, 09:07 AM

Has anyone noticed that the BSE skins have a grainy texture on them, and under reflection, produces a mosaic like coating on it?

It's annoying as the screen isn't as "clear" anymore.

Anyone else notice this?

Here are some screens for comparison:

Here is a Bold with the BSE, and a Curve with the original protective screen. Observe the reflections.

I have had BSE, Invisible Shield, BodyGuardz, and a bunch of other similar skins. They all have the mosaic texture. If you want really good protection on your BBs screen, you're going to have this texture. If you want crystal clear protection, you're going to have to use a less protective screen protector.

The texture doesn't really bother me. I'd be more bothered if the actual screen of my BB has an extremely large scratch going through it. The BSE can get scratches over time but only if you purposely scratch it with a key or something sharp. Otherwise, it'll remain scratchless. If you end up using a weaker crystal clear protector, they might end up getting scratched and being more annoying than the mosaic texture.

Edit: Just realized this thread is really old.
