Default Cracked LCD = no access to the phonebook? huh?!

Please Login to Remove!

I cracked the LCD on my blackberry- there is zero visability on the component. I ordered a replacement but still need to transfer my old phonebook to the new phone. Verizon tech support said that they can not do it without a working screen? Are they inept - or is this an impossibility?
(I never used any syncing device)
