I knew there had to be some sort of "catch" to it. Not telling about the adapter is bad business in my book.

Once the cost becomes reasonable and the adapters are included, maybe.

The adapter selection is also extremely limited at this point.

Sure, they have universal receivers but they completely defeat the whole point of the Powermat as you have to plug your device into the universal receiver.

Aas a bleckberry user, I don't see the problem. The cover that came with the mat fits my devise and all I have to do is put the Blackberry on the mat and it's being charged. once the battery is full it stops charging. Even though I have to use the tips they have to some of the other devices I have at home it is still cutting all the wires going from the devices to the the AC outlet. I am charging everything in one place using only one wire. I hope that in the future it will become so common that it will be embeded is the devices as I buy them but still, this is real progress.

If that's a priority the Chargepod seems like a much more cost effective solution.

Personally, if I'm paying a premium for inductive charging I want inductive charging for all my devices.

120.00 bucks to charge my phone seems like quite a bit. Given it is a nifty way to charge your devices (the ones that comply with what adapters they have that is.)
I was looking into getting one, into I did some research myself and found out about the adapters, just like Dubdub I don't find it good advertising.
