Default New Blackberry User Old School Palm User Needs Ext Keyboard

This is my first time here. I just purchased a 7290 and the Jabra250 headset. I haven't fully activated all the features yet and I've already found a couple of things I need. A truly swivel case, found one but that'll be more $ on top of the cost of the device, contract etc. I do a lot of email so I need an external keyboard. I used to use a Palm VIIx for several years and had one of those folding external keyboards, that was the most useful equipment I owned for a while. I am now back to needing a similar device and opted for the 7290 but...long fingernails aren't working with the keyboard. Still deciding on whether the device goes back to Cingular because the fingernails are staying. Need a handy keyboard, anyone know of one that exists?

Not for the model 7290.

The Bluetooth stack is rumored to be opened up sometime in mid 2005, so the Bluetooth Stowaway XT may be useful in a few months now -- but not yet at this moment.
