Curve 8320 Trackball

The trackball on my Curve 8320 is sticking and won't scroll properly. It obviously needs cleaning but could someone please tell me how I remove the trackball to clean it?

Pop the silver ring around trackball off, use a finger nail or a paper clip. Flip phone over out will come trachball
