Hi guys; would appreciate your help with this one. I listen to music on my Curve 9300, either via earphones or through a jack into a bose speaker. Done this for the last 18 months.

This morning, i found that neither jack will enter the phone, as though a shutter has been drawn across the portal. It goes in about a third of the way and that's it.

Is this is formal repair job or is there something i can do. How could it have changed overnight?

Did you drop it?

Do you carry it in your pocket? Perhaps some dirt or trash is in the way. Maybe you can try getting it out using a straightened paperclip.

It feels more solid than that, as though a shutter has moved into place, not that i think there is such a thing on a Curve
