Default Screen has a huge blotch - 02-20-2006, 05:48 PM

Help. I have a 7230. Bought it in July and have never had a problem. Today the screen has a huge blotch covering over half the surface. It's dark with an orangeish color around the edge. I did not drop it or get it wet. What could this possibly be? The device is now virtually inoperable. Thanks for any help.

Does it change at all if you turn the device off and on? What about if you press (gently) on it and on its edges?
