Default Cingular 7100g capable of IM natively?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm deciding between the T-Mobile 7100t and the Cingular 7100g. On the spec sheet for the 7100g (http://www.blackberry.com/blackberry...spec_sheet.pdf) it doesn't mention IM but on the 7100t it does. Does anyone know if the 7100g is natively capable of IM?

The integrated IM application that tmo provides is not good. If you are serious about IM you will choose an aftermarket program like Verichat in which case it won't matter which device you choose.

Cingular is not bundling IM.

Would I need to subscribe to a MDS service to use Verichat on the 7100g?

The built-in IM application is better than the "average" IM application built into a cellphone, definitely.

HOWEVER, if you want the best of all worlds, check my:
