Default Error code 543 on 7280 - 07-31-2006, 01:08 PM

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with a 7280. When I turn it on, I immediately get an error sign, a circule, a square, and a triangle inside a rectangle, and the number "543" under it.

I tried the chip and battery in another device and they work.

Does anyone know what it means and how to fix it?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Use the forum Search and type in 543 or Error 543. There is a lot of discussion on this topic that will probably help you.

I am trying to upload the OS again but I keep getting the following msg:
"Unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation."

After it uploads the OS, it tries to connect back to JVM, but it never happens and I get the above msg.

Any advise you can give me would be grately appreciated.

according to the directions I found, I have to wait for 15 mins since the device is still working on setting the OS. I have already waited 30 mins and nothing happened.

I'll keep searching the forums.

Still, any help is very welcomed
