I have a 7230 that I like very much, but there's one thing I can't seem to control. The backlight.

Whenever I use the speed-dial or activate the phone in any way, the backlight comes on. When it does, it produces that telltale EL hum that becomes annoying rather quickly.

Is there a way to disable this feature?
