Looking to get Krusell Classic for my 7290.

Questions for those who have used it for some time:

1. Plastic that covers the face of the BB. How good is it? Is it easy to type with it beign on top all the time? Also, any tearing off on the edges?

2. Drop factor. Is that case padded at all, or is it all leather with no padding?

This was my favorite case for my 6710 and 7230. I wish the made one for the 8700.

I had no problem with wear and the case fit like a glove. I actually preferred holding my BB with the case on more than with it off. The clear front on mine was very durable and only slightly increased typing difficulty due to the a reduction in feel.

I never dropped mine. The case is not padded save for the leather itself but would protect better than cases that have open corners. IMO Krussel cases rock!
