Default Is anyone using the Proclip 7100 holder... - 03-19-2005, 01:43 PM

with a 7100g? It seems to indicate that this only fits a t/r model. Anybody have one and try it? Does it fit well? I have other proclip units and the mount in my truck and love them. I have to get one for my 7100g and Proclip has yet to respond to my question. Thanks

I contacted proclip and asked your very question to them. They responded that the existing 7100 proclip models are NOT designed to work with the 7100g. They indicated that they would have a 7100g model in one to two months.

Default ProClipUSA.com 7100g Holder - 03-20-2005, 02:20 PM

I asked the same question and was told the same thing by ProClip. Having said that, since the dimensions in width are the same I decided to order and try it even though I was told that no it wouldn't work. It works. It's tight on the sides and while not perfect at the bottom you would have to really, and I mean really, check it out to see it isn't perfect. As far as I'm concerned I'm keeping it and won't bother to wait for the new one. I don't know why they are even bothering to make a custom one when the holder works great.
