Are you talking about a skin case? I heard that Seido and the OEM skin case from Blackberry are good. Do a search for Seido. There's lots of discussion about it.

Shield Zone is only a screen protection or a total body protection. Best Skins Ever is also the same thing but cheaper.

I have Shieldzone.... I like it. It makes it very easy to hold keeps me from dropping it. My only complaint is that the real small pieces (that BSE doesn't even include) are beginning to peel up a little.

I am using eGrip on my Cingular 8700C.. I am loving it.. It makes it nicer to hold. I would recommend it.

I used eGrips on my old bb's (7510 and 7520), and have ordered another set for my new 8700c....hopefully they'll arrive soon, before I drop the bb!!

Same here. I really like the full body protector for the 8700c/r but all the little pieces they've cut to make it fit so well really peel up easily. It's too bad because with the IS on my 8700r shell you can see that it's really a very dark blue.

I like the eGrips as well. Normally, I'd just apply them to the battery door and they made unholstering real easy when I used the OEM plastic holster. I've since switched to the OEM leather holster and the eGrips are a real pain with it. They also begin to peel very quickly with the leather holster from repeated snagging on the holster itself. In any case, I don't currently use them but if I switched back to the other holster, I would.

Bingo! I was just going to say that.

I haven't ordered my egrips yet, but I do have a BSE skin installed and it is the best investment besides insurance and the OEM leather holster that I have purchased yet.

I like the egrips too, but find myself having to replace them after a couple months. There is a material distributor that sells the same material in 4"x6" sheets for like 1/2 the price. You have to cut your own pattern but you can get like 3 phone applications off one sheet. They sell it for hobby/craft purposes but I use it on my phones. They're a small company but worth contacting for the material - sales at griips dot com

I have had great success with eGrips. Absolutely no peeling, wearing out, or difficulty placing my BlackBerrys in their cases.

Here are _three tips_ to prevent the peeling problem that some report here.

1) When you purchase eGrips they come with an alcohol wipe for cleaning the surface of fingerprints, or any other residue. So use the wipe first.

2) Apply the eGrip to the surface and once you've done that. Then put the palm of you hand on it as press it down firmly and wait with your hand in place for about 3 or 4 minutes. I have found that this "warms" the adhesive backing and the bond becomes very strong.

3) At this point, it's important to Not put it in your case for just one day. eGrips tend to "cure" after 24 hours and then they stay in place and do not peel.

I use eGrips on the battery door, along with an OEM BlackBerry leather case, and find the eGrips present no problem with inserting the BB into it's case.

I have this combination on both my 7130c and 8700c and it's worked perfectly, and has been very long lasting.

Cheers....
