Definitely not the most important accessory, but I do find the desktop stands for the BB handy as I park my BB around the house (un-synced).

Years ago I came across some of the old (I guess they're for the 7200 series) plastic stands and was using it for my 8700. It fits on there but was a little loose and if it got bumped, the BB slid off of it. Also, when the BB vibrates, the stand does too (quite loudly!).

So I was on the ShopBlackBerry site getting a new battery door when I noticed the new stand, the ''BlackBerry 8700 Series Leather Desktop Stand''. In the picture it looks kind of funky and the fact that it is leather had me confused as to how the heck it works. So I ordered one.

Came yesterday and I have to tell you, it is quite convenient. It actually comes packaged flat and you bend it up and a magnet catches it and keeps it 'bent'. The BB fits right into the opening and the leather is stiff enough to hold the BB up just fine.

I give the ''BlackBerry 8700 Series Leather Desktop Stand'' a thumbs up and will be getting 2 more next time I order.

UPDATE!! - Turns out, another advantage of the new "BlackBerry 8700 Series Leather Desktop Stand" over the old plastic style, is that Cats enjoy pulling it off the counter and batting it around the room (luckily with NO BB in it!). Looks like I've got to order an extra.
