Does anyone have any experience using the sim card from their 7520 in another nextel phone? I'm considering buying a i860 to carry when i don't wanna carry the BB and use the sim card. Thanks for any advice/help.

It will work. But I have heard that a 3 digit phone such as the 860 will burn the sim card up the BB uses a older sim card the 32k and the new 3 digit phones use a 64k. You wont be able to put the sim card in and have your numbers there the BB saves the names and stuff in memory while the 860 saves everything to the sim card. So you will be forced to reneter all of your numbers again. Goodluck and let me know.

i just got my 7520 this week and now i swap the sim in and out of the i860 that i have when i need bluetooth [golf, beach] or i need to take down addresses and do the other PDA functions.
i do miss the i860 sometimes though - the camera function, and especially text messaging aren't on the blackberry. the i860 is a lot smaller in your pocket, too. the blackberry doesn't recognize phone numbers saved on the i860 sim, so those all have to be loaded - which is easy with outlook.
some advice - DO NOT put another sim card into your i860 when you take it out.... all of my pictures, text messages, datebook entries, recent calls, etc were deleted when i put somebody else's sim in there. also, when you put your sim into the blackberry, it takes like 5 minutes to load every single time, which gets annoying. i think that if people send you text messages when your sim is in the blackberry, you never receive those - even when you put the sim in the i860.
other than that, having both phones is really the best of both worlds - until blackberries get text messaging and a camera.

another issue you might run into is having mms enable with your 64k sim. since their network will reconize what you are using. you are going to have to convince cs to enable it.
