7100 RIM Leather holster - is the clip the same as the soft-sided?
 

I miss my 950 leather case and the fact that it had a true clip that I could put on my belt that I could press and clip on my belt. This soft-sided holster has a crazy, "try and stick it on if you are lucky" mock clip that makes it really difficult to put on and then take off.

IS the leather one the same?

Then unfortunately yes. I purchased and regret it. I've never used it because it is the same. As a matter of fact, if anyone wants it for $15 + shipping PM me.

All of the new RIM holsters for the 7100 have the same "fixed" clip as the soft case that came with your device.

The new Rugged cases have a carabiner and the poucheds have no clip whatsoever.

The new Active cases for the 62/72xx series have that clip as well. I actually like it better than the old plastic swivel but I understand ones personal preference.
