Hi All,

I just purchased a mini-sync cable from suntekstore.com for my T-Mobile 6710. It's supposed to charge and sync, but when I connect it to my HP laptop, it doesn't recognize the cable or 6710. I am able to sync with the OEM cradle and a targus port expander module.

Do I need a driver, or did suntek sell me a bogus cable? Did not find any info on their site and still waiting to hear back from them for support.

Is anyone aware of a data cable that both charges and syncs the 6710?

Might be... I have one of these bad boys: http://www.javoedge.com/simtrix/prod...ory=SYNC_CABLE from JavoEdge and it syncs and charges fine with my PC and Mac.

Thanks for the info, Finch... do you have a 6710? Did you need any special drivers?

I have a 7780, no drivers that I know of? PocketMac for syncig on the Mac and Desktop Manager on the PC, thats it.
