Unhappy 6750 with USB cable

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I picked up a USB cable for my 6750 so that I could sync at home and work. Problem is when I try to connect with the desktop manager, it doesn't see the Blackberry. I picked up the cable on eBay, it didn't come with any drivers (don't know if any are needed)

Using Desktop Manager 4.0.0.30

Thanks

The 6750 only supports serial connections. You need a serial cable or cradle to connect the device to the PC.

There are a handful of USB to serial cable adapters that RIM has certified, but you still need the correct serial cable or cradle, as acnst has stated.

eBay is a great place for RIM accessories that folks no longer have use for here and eg. of what your looking for: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...sPageName=WDVW
