I have a 7100t that runs through a BES in our office. I receive email from three different addresses on my hanheld through the BES. I received two emails on Wednesday and two emails on Thursday to two of my different email addresses, from different people.

For some strange reason, I cannot delete these email messages from my handheld. I can't file them either. I was able to delete the messages from my Outlook, but they stayed on the handheld.

Further, as opposed to the usual open envelope icon that usually resides next to opened email, it shows an open folder.

How do I get these messages off my BlackBerry?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

BB 7780 user - same problem - e-mail via BES/Outlook exchange server - I have several inbox messages that cannot be deleted from the BB itself. Suggestions anyone?

After going around in circles with this, and a lot of people scratching their heads, I simply backed up everything and wiped out my handheld data. I've just finished restoring and the messages are gone.

Don't know how this happened, but I'm glad they're gone!
