Default blackberry pearl car charger

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought a gps receiver and it came with a car charger. I noticed that the only thing different is that the gps charger is 1A while the regular blackberry charger is .7A. Can I use this to charge my blackberry in my car?

Default

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

In theory yes in most cases it will charge faster but use with caution and I wouldn't leave it on the car charger as long
