Apple Hard At Work Making iPhone Obsolete | The Onion - America's Finest News Source

How is this a smart move:

"Jobs also hinted that the second iPhone device would not be compatible with existing Mac computers, third-party peripherals, or any future Apple products"

i would believe it why not start working on the 2nd gen verison of the phone. hell i think they plan to release it end of year or early next year. by the time demand for the iPhone starts to go down they come out with a newer better verison to replace it and take over the industry again. look at the iPod how often they come out with a new generation iPod.

Yeah, that would make the original phone obsolete before it even launched on a good foot.
