i like the default ubuntu-hardy, but im using the ubuntustudio theme with a hi-res wallpaper.

infinite1der...what is that strip on the right of your screen shot with system info? Anyway I can run that on Ubuntu 8.04?

there is one out for gnome desktops called "conky", its pretty cool and i think its even in the repositories. you can have it customized color or transparent with all types of system info. google it and you'll see.
