Hey, I stream videos to my curve from my Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 LTS. I also use my Linux box like a slingbox for watching BBTV
. I use Darwin QTSS (Quicktime Streaming Server) for both live RTSP streaming and static streams. If you have a 64bit sys and run Hardy, I can send you the *.deb that I created using checkinstall. I use FFMPEG to encode the files or
mpeg4ip to encode/create the sdp file for live streams. I haven't discovered too many (if any) documented reliable methods online so if you have questions and you like to *tinker*, just ask.
