Default syncing via bluetooth - 03-25-2008, 12:31 PM

My USB connector on the phone for some reason has been acting up, can't even charge my battery anymore. But that is neither here nor there. My question is, when connected through bluetooth, how is it possible to sync more than just my address book. In particular i want to sync my pictures, and no none of them are on the sd card. How would i go about doing this?

If it helps i'm working with the 8300 and an iMac

Thanks

I'm not sure how to sync all your pictures in one step, but you can send pictures one by one to your Mac over bluetooth. When viewing a picture (or when it's highlighted in your pictures list), click the menu button and select "send using bluetooth." If you've already paired your BB and Mac, then a box will come up showing the available devices to send to. Select your computer and it will start the file transfer. On your computer, a dialogue box will appear asking you to accept the file being sent. Click okay and that's that.

If you have paired the two devices but are getting a failed transfer error about not being able to connect, open your Mac's bluetooth settings. Highlight your blackberry and then click the gear icon below the devices list. Select "edit serial ports." Click the plus sign to add a new one. Use the default name given, RS-232 for the protocol, and "blackberry desktop service..." for the service. You can leave the who check boxes unchecked and then click apply.

Hopefully that will help.
