Default Memo Pad - 05-03-2008, 06:11 PM

Having just bought new 'curves' I synchronized everything from my previous blackberry to my mac using pocket mac, but memo pad doesn't synch across

I don't want to lose what is on the memo pad on my previous blackberry - does anyone know how I can transfer it over to my new one.

Regards

Can you find a PC?

Simple workaround:

On Blackberry, copy/paste each note into the text portion of an Address Book contact. Then sync with PocketMac.

You might want to leave your "Notes" as text in Contacts. The PocketMac sync for Notes is only one way, from Mac to BB. By leaving each note in a contact, you get two-way syncing.

The only caveat is to check that each note does not exceed some character limit in the Contact text field. I tried to discover the limit but it seems to be undocumented. To date, however, I have never had a problem.

Default Memo pad sync - 05-08-2008, 01:48 AM

I have now succeeded in synching memo pad across to pocket mac and back - and for those out there who have had the same problem you do it by enabling sticky notes transfer. All the individual memo pad notes go across to sticky notes on pocket mac but not in folders - when they sync back to blackberry they go back into their folders again - clever stuff
