Default Pocketmac syncing & Tasks - 05-09-2008, 03:28 AM

Hi
Im using pocketmac (latest version from bb website and with the latest updated driver) and entourage 2004. Every time I try to sync it gets stuck on tasks syncing. Calender, contacts and notes get synced.

I earlier tried syncing it with iCal (and other mac native apps like stickies and address book) and had the same problem. Everything would get synced except for tasks. I assumed that since the option for recurring tasks isnt there in iCal maybe that was the reason. I installed Entourage 2004 (since Entourage 2008 is not fully compatible with pocketmac yet). But even with Entourage 2004 I cant sync tasks.

Anyone else having this problem? Or more importantly, does someone have a solution or a work around this issue?

Stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. Is PM set up correctly to sync your tasks?

answer is dump pocketmac and spend the $40 for missingsync. did it last week and won't look back. everything syncs nicely, just took about 30 min to make sure i didn't get duplicates.

i got the same problem for some time now. i remember that the sync'ing worked fine with mac os x tiger, pocketmac and ical. perhaps it has something to do with the changes that took place at ical for leopard?

i am really considering to by missingsync, but i'd rather prefer to use a free program. when does rim bring a desktop manager for mac? would be a nice completion!
