Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

How did your BB not work with your old PC?? And as for the Mac part I'm sure one of our Mac users will be able to help

PocketMac has a lot of issues, many of which have been mentioned in the previous posts here. While PM has worked okay for me in the past, many other Mac users will recommend MissingSync and say that it is worth the price.

It would have been easier to replace the old PC with a new PC...

That's very true!

You can make your bb work with your mac sort of . . . . !

I am a mac user and I have an inexpensive laptop PC on which I run Desktop Manager. I use this for software installation and backups.

The rest of the time I sync with my mac using Mailstreet BES/MES and MS Entourage.

You can try Bootcamp, Parrallels, VMWare Fusion, PocketMac, Missing Sync, Snerdware and other solutions ( I have tried them all) but they are all limited in what they can do. You can mix and match but you get problems here and there. There is no complete solution for Mac user. Any one is going to cost you some money!

I used pocketmac until Leopard came out. Leopard broke it and I noticed Missing Sync had an update before I saw one for Pocketmac. Missing Sync has worked for me since.

I also have 1 PC laptop (actually I have 3 counting the kids but all theirs have Ubuntu Linux on them) that I keep around just to load my GPS software and update my BB software. Since I have an 8320, I haven't had to do that in awhile :/

Missing Sync is not bad But I can't get it to sync with Entourage Tasks. It doesn't seem to be an option. I can't understand why because it syncs my note s fine!
