Ok I did a hell of alot of searching and couldn't find an up to date guide on how to tether a blackberry to Mac on Leopard.

This is what I did to have the connection I am using as we speak.

First download the Scripts like you have seen in any tutorial, they can be located here including where to download them to.

After downloading the folder folder "Blackberry" that contains the scripts and you have moved it to > macintoshHD>Library>Modem Scripts

Now pair your phone to the computer using your bluetooth connection.
It will take you to a screen first to pair it with a passkey, once you have continued from there it will gather information of services for the phone.

Next you will have a screen that is blank except for a box with a check that says something like " access the internet with your mobile phones data connection"

Now this is where the next window would pop up where its looks like you should be able to choose
Phone Vendor =
Phone Model =
Username =
Password =
Phone number =
However i wasn't able to change any of the properties.
At this point i exited the assistant with my Berry paired with bluetooth

Next open your System Preferences> Network

Next hit the little "+" sign at the bottom and you will be prompted for
"select the interface and enter a name for the new service.
Pick Bluetooth and then name it whatever you want.

Now select the "configuration" drop down list and "add a new configuration"
name it whatever you want ex:BluBerry

Now enter the settings into the blank fields as follows
Telephone Number :
Account Name: wapuser1
Password: wap

Now hit the setup bluetooth device button

Now you are back at that screen "Bluetooth Mobile Phone Set Up"
The fields should be changeable now make them as follows:
Phone Vendor: Research In Motion
Phone Model: Blackberry 8800
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap

Hit enter/continue

You should see "Conclusion" screen telling you your mobile phone was setup for access the internet, Pairing completed succesfully and computer serial port was created.

Hit Quit.

Now back to System Preferences> Network> select your bluetooth connection in the window on the left. You should have the Status fields on the right where you entered the fields.

Select the Advanced tab

>Modem Tab
should be:
Vendor : Research in Motion
Model: Blackberry 8800
Dial mode: ignore dial tone when dialing
Leave the rest under modem

>PPP Tab
Settings: Session
everything has a check EXCEPT
Connect automatically when needed
Prompt every XX minutes to maintain connection
Prompt for password after dialing.

Now hit ok.

Now you should be able to hit apply and then connect and you are done!!!

This is the first time I have written instructions. Let me know if it sucks or is confusing or just doesn't work.
