Default Error 1: Skipping in 4.1 PocketMac - 08-15-2008, 07:29 PM

Hey guys,
Just a heads up:
PocketMac 4.1 does have Error 1: Skipping.
The fix:
Remove the 2 extension files (BlackBerryUSB.KEXT & BlackBerryUSBDev.KEXT)
Reinstall PocketMac on top of itself (no uninstall)

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Only because I haven't dealt with these issues in forever, I am going to ask the dumb question.

Where do I find the extension files? Did a spotlight for them, nothing popped up =D

Thanks for tolerating that one.

Nevermind, found a thread explaining how to find the extension files. Thanks!

Hi,

Please remember that if your drivers are still in-use by the Mac OS at the time of install, they can't be overwritten/updated by the installer. Please be sure to disconnect your BlackBerry before installing updates to PocketMac.

Thank you!

Have a great day!

Computer literacy isn't my strong suit... It would be great if someone could explain how to remove extension files. I need to resolve this skipping error issue...

Thanks much!
