Default Parallels/Desktop Manager Issue with Bold

Please Login to Remove!

I run Win XP under Parallels on an iMac mainly for Outlook and Desktop Manager. Works perfectly with my Curve. I just got a Bold, and for some reason, it only works sporadically. DM sometimes recognizes Bold, sometimes not. And when it does recognize it, it will sometimes allow a Backup to occur, and sometimes it just disconnects quickly. If it does complete one task, say a Backup, it never is able to do a second task, such as a Synchronization (I am on BES but use Synchronization for DataVault). I have to disconnect and reconnect. DM basically freezes until the disconnect.

Has anyone experienced this? It still, by the way, works perfecty with Curve.

Thanks.

Default Problems syncing Bold on a mac under parallels

I am having same issue syncing my Bold on a mac using Parallels. I haven't been able to complete the process as it seems the blackberry looses its connection to the computer and I have to unplug the usb cable from the phone to re establish the connection. So far I have only been able to sync on my mac using Missing Sync program.

I have this problem too.

The problem is in Parallels, so we have to report this to de Parallels' developer team. There's a lot of device that doesn't run through USB in this soft.

Does anybody tried this in Fusion?

I have Fusion v. 2 beta installed and just tried it. I installed the Bold OS and the latest version of Desktop Manager (4.6). The Bold connects perfectly under VM Ware Fusion v.2 (the latest Beta). I believe it is now out of Beta, but I had installed it less than 30 days ago to try, and still had 6 days left on the trial. Looks like I may have to buy it now.
