Just downloaded and installed it. I got a warning that if I did install this, I would require to un-install it to make PocketMac work. I went ahead and installed it and it stopped PocketMac from working. I am now going to un-install it and see if PocketMac will work ... will post back again on the results.

Back again. I had to un-install BlackBerry Media Sync to get PocketMac to run.

Well that's productive... you can either sync media or PIM data, but not both. Maybe RIM will release a full Desktop Manager sooner rather than later for the Mac.

Mount the BlackBerry Media Sync DMG. You will find an un-installer there as well. Just run the same and all will be done.

So this app doesn't play well with pocket mac eh? I haven't heard any details on why this stops PocketMac from working, but any word if Media Sync has any conflicts with Missing Sync? I solely use Missing Sync so I'm curious about this.

I was going to give this a try, but you also have to have OS X 10.5.5 (leopard) or above. Just when I though RIM was about to get it right for mac users :(. Oh well, still love my bb.

Has anyone noticed when using the preview version of the Mac MediaSync that it seems to re-copy all the playlists (even with no changes to them) with every sync? Its kind of annoying if I have to wait while it overwrites 500 songs on my Bold when I only wanted to add 10 new ones. Hopefully they will change this strategy!

Same here, it takes a good 20 minutes to sync each time. Hardly ideal!
