Default 8320 Curve with 4.5 update problem: duplicate calendar entries using missing sync

So the title pretty much sums it up. I just updated my 8320 with the new 4.5 OS through T-mobile and everything went smoothly. I went to sync it (I'm using iCal) via Missing Sync and there were no errors, everything appeared to be fine. Then I looked at the calendar and all the events (both all day events and ones with specific times) have ben duplicated.

The all day events appear as both being 12:00AM-12:00AM as events as well as all day events. The ones with specific times have been duplicated with the same times but a different color.

Anyone have a similar experience or any advice. Thanks very much in advance, cheers.

Looks as though I posted a bit prematurely. In the event anyone else has this issue, this page worked from the fine folks at Missing Sync worked for me (probably should have checked a bit more carefully at first):
