I'm on a Bold. I plug in using USB. Nothing is listed in Device, Status reads Available.

I really need to get these contacts transferred asap. Can anyone help me?

Try the trial version of Missing Sync (markspace.com). It is a more reliable program and will at least get your info sync'ed and give you time to see if you can get PM to work.

They are in beta testing of a new MS version that allows for BT & USB sync, and word is RIM is working on a Mac version of a program, too.

The solution to my problem was a weird one.

PM didn't work on my G4 Powerbook, but yet when I moved my address book to my coworkers Intel-based Mac running PM it worked without issue.

having the same issues. I've uninstalled twice and reinstalled. I can't get it the sync program to see the device. No password on the BB. I think i've tried every suggestion. I have a new mbp running leopard and an 8820 running 4.5

Problem
When trying to synchronize a BlackBerry smartphone and a new MacBook or MacBook Pro with PocketMac for BlackBerry smartphones, the following error is received:

Error1; (skipping)

The BlackBerry smartphone does not connect properly to the Mac computer.

Resolution
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.



Looks like they are hard(ly) at work on it.

The resolution is to chuck pocketmac and buy Mark/Space's Missing Sync.

rambo47: Missing Sync apparently doesn't work with the new MacBook Pro aluminum computers. They disclose it in their knowledge base. Wish i knew that BERORE i purchased it. guess i'm SOL for now.
