Hi - does anyone out there have experience of using the new 8900 in conjunction with a Mac computer ? I have always used a PC and MS Office software (Outlook) for syncing etc. I am thinking of getting a Mac and would like to hear of any issues before I go ahead. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I use a Mac. The Mac and the Blackberry can get along, but it isn't as smooth as with a PC. For some reason RIM hasn't put a whole lot of effort into keeping Mac users happy, but at the CES show, I was told this is changing.

That being said, you can sync Entourage (Mac's version of Outlook) as well as Mac's iCal using a free program called PocketSync. It's on blackberry.com. There are some hiccups with it, but it will sync calender, contacts, tasks, iTunes playlists, etc.

Just installed virtual windows XP on my Mac and I'm toally releaved. No issues anymore!
