Default iTunes: finally, something PocketMac does OK - 03-06-2009, 01:00 PM

At the risk of jinxing it, I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised by how well PM pushes iTunes lists on to my 8900. All of the album data, genre etc seem to transfer well. It's not the fastest process in the world, but with PM I'll take accuracy over speed any day (if only that trade-off were available to get my Contacts and Calendar properly sync'd!). Given that MediaSync requires disabling PM, I can't see any advantage to it.

One question though: what's the best way to remove music from the BB media card? It seems that it's strictly a one-way transfer through PM, adding tracks but not providing any way to delete them (unchecking or deleting a song in the iTunes playlist being sync'd doesn't delete it from the BB). I know I can access the media card through Finder, but that just lists tracks alphabetically rather than albums. Similarly, on the BB itself, it seems you can delete tracks but not whole albums. Suggestions? Thanks.
