Default Pocketmac Not Installing

Please Login to Remove!

I just recently downloaded Pocketmac from the Blackberry website, but I can't get it to install on my IMac. When I click the icon to install pocketmac, it tells me i need Administrator or Higher privileges, (even though i am the admin account on my mac) but it does not give me the option to type in my administrator password.

Has anyone else had this same problem? and what did you do to fix it?

From time to time I have had a very similar problem installing OS updates on my iMac. In my case what I discovered the problem to be was that I had initiated the OS updates as another user, and the updater was not able to over ride that process despite the admin privileges of my account. Is it possible that you started installing this app as a different user? (I know this is a remote possibility, but I thought I'd share). Good luck.
