Question Unlocked 8310 for travel only; getting MobileMe data?

Please Login to Remove!

Currently, my whole system revolves around iPhone/MobileMe. Easy to use, simple, and finally glitch-free (!).

As you know, unlocking the iPhone is not supported, so I will travel with my unlocked Blackberry. What's the easiest (read: cheap and simple) path to get MobileMe data (specifically calendar data with flight info) on the Blackberry (I'd like to avoid the trainwreck that is PocketMac) before I leave?

I think I got contacts on there recently with Google? I simply can't remember. Here are the tools at my disposal: Parallels 4 with Outlook/XP, USB cable, Mac, internet connection. (I thought at one point we could put an iPhone SIM in the BB to have some limited functionality too).

Thanks, all.

Go into iCal and export your calendar as an .ics file. Then go into outlook on windows xp and import that .ics file into outlook. Same goes for contacts. Export your address book contacts to a file, then import that file into outlook.

Run blackberry desktop manager off of windows and sync your blackberry to outlook.

You won't over the air syncing, but at least the blackberry will be up to date.

This is pretty much SOP for this device for Mac users these day? Sigh. Thanks!
