PocketMac SyncManager

I have a new 8330 the replaced an 8830.

It (8830) has always had a trouble free relationship with my MAC power book when I did sync.

However, the new 8330 will not sync.

The message that appears after a minute of trying is this:

There were warnings generated during the sync. Would you like to view them now?

I select “yes” and this is the warning:

[07:04:26.776] Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.


I went to BB.com and downloaded the latest version of PocketMac.

Is there a know way to fix this?

There are a lot of issues with PocketMac that there is no explanation for. Try using the Missing Sync for your BB syncing on Mac.

I have used sync before on my mac and it worked fine on my 8900. Now for some reason it has stopped. I have followed all the instruction ALL day on the BB web site. Uninstalled - re installed - deleted files added drivers.

Changed suggested setting on the BB handset. Taken out battery
It still wont work. UGH !!!!

Anyone got any other suggestions other than throwing it out the window....or better still just giving up, and using my Ipod that works fine, but its not the phone just use it for diary and contacts.

When reading other threads some say missing sync wont work either? If you get any luck please pass it on to me
