I sync my 8330 to my MacBook Pro, using Missing Sync. Is there a reason I should be backing up to my laptop? other than just syncing my calendar, address book, and the other things that Missing Sync syncs....
does that make sense?
A backup will have your messages, call logs, that sort of thing. Also less important things like profile settings, browser bookmarks, etc. If something happens to your blackberry, its a cinch to restore to a new one and pick up where you were, so to speak.
PocketMac doesn't back up either... it only syncs like Missing Sync. There is no true backup alternative for the Mac. I have a Windows partition, using VMWare Fusion on my Mac and I run the windows desktop manager for blackberry and back up that way.
I can't even imagine trying to get that figured out...everything is running smooth, so if it ain't broke....though I am toying with updated from 4.3.0.124...
